Vermont office wants additional information

My fiance and I completed all the required paperwork, I even added additional info. like flight schedules I had and pictures of us and our engagement announcement. I received an email on Saturday that they have sent me a notice requesting additional information or evidence. But in the email they didn't say what that was. So now I am waiting "painfully" to receive this notice in the mail with the details.

Has anyone received this? What kind of additional information will they be asking for?

My fiance and I are dying over this. We have been separated since January and not know how much time this is delaying us is pure torture.

You will be recieving what we call an "RFE" (request for evidence). You will get a letter stating what the USCIS wants from you. There really is no way to determine what it will be until you recieve the letter. It can be as simple as you forgetting to sign one of the forms, to wanting more evidence of you two meeting the past two years.

Hang in there! We all know the "wonderful" torture that comes with the process.

If you dotted all your i's and crossed your t's, then they may have lost something, but until you get that letter, we can't know

What other proof did you send appart from the flight schedule and pictures of you two? Go through the guides here to see if you´ve forgotten anything you can start gathering beforehand, so maybe when you get that RFE it will be ready to send back to them.

After reading as much as my brain can take on this topic, I have started preparing documents, phone bills, bank statements, photos, emails, mail, cards, etc.

Hopefully something out of this jungle of paperwork will be what they need. No notice in the mail today. Hopefully it will be in the mail tomorrow to let me know what they require.
