Can't turn back...Help with proof of relationship on Form I-129F!

Hi, I'm just having a moment of panic here. In hindsight, perhaps I could have added more information - or put more sentences on my Form I-129F when they asked for "proof of relationship" on Section 18. My only response was that we met via the internet on March 6, 2007 and have since met in person. I indicated in Section 18 to refer to the Table of Content for further proof of our relationship which included, electronic confirmation of my flight to Italy and my fiance's flights here; my hotel bill in Milan, Italy; and pictures of us together in Italy and the US. I'm a bit petrified now that this may not be enough. I neglected to include phone bills or emails since I thought pictures would be more. I don't know...is this enough...or am I doomed for not providing phone bills and emails. I will definitely give it to him when he goes for an interview. Can somewhere share with me if this was your experience too!?! :help:

The only thing I sent in with my I-129F was my flight itineraries and a dated picture of us together (yes, ONE picture)...I wrote in the space provided that we had met three times and quoted the dates of arrival and departure. I wouldn't worry if I were you

The standard of proof for the initial petition is that you have met in person within the previous two years before the date of filing. Phone bills and e-mails do not prove meeting.... Proof of relationship evidence is optional at the time of petition and and is more fully considered at time of consulate interview....

YMMV

You are starting to worry kind of like me, however people have taught me that it really doesn't help and it helps best just to calm down.

Honestly, you will most likely be fine with the proof you have provided. Don't worry, you can always send more come interview time. You should be just fine. If by chance you get an RFE, then just use your creative mind and come up with all the best ways you can to prove the bona fide relationship.

Worst case, they send you and RFE. It seems you have sufficient evidence that you met in person, but I beleive Q18 asks how you initially met... meaning, how did you meet on the internet? Through friends, in a chat room, or more importantly to them, using marriage broker.

I've seen a case on here where they requested a more detailed explaination of how they met after stating on the internet, but of course it will depend on who works your case and what mood they are in.

You sound much like me. We met on internet, and 9 months later met in person.

I-129F only requires proof that you have met sometime in the past 2 years.

Same here, all we filed with I 129 were a couple of pictures, and plane tickets to the UK. I would not worry about that too much. From now, just keep email, phone bills and stuff like that to prove ongoing and lasting relationship at interview

I think you'll be fine too.

If it makes you feel any better though, you could prepare more "evidence" and if you were to receive an RFE you'd already have everything ready to mail - to speed up the process.
