Really hope someone will step forward to help you out. My brother became a Canadian citizen a few years back but he grew up here and went to school here so it's not the same. I can try to answer your questions as best I can but there must be some folks who can answer from personal experience.

Good luck to your daughter on her citizenship test. Tell her that the questions that can be asked are in the back of the study book she received from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. There will be two parts to the test - the first will include questions from part A and the answers are included in the book. If she reads the booklet and studies it, she should be fine. Part B includes questions about where she lives in Canada - the name of her mayor and council, her MP and MPP, what her region of the country is famous for, things like that. She can go to the library to get the answers she doesn't know plus she can also call her MPs office for answers she doesn't know. I always kept a copy of up to date Part B questions and answers available as handouts for our constituents to help them study for their tests. If she has lived in Canada that many years most of the information will be second nature to her as it will have been studied in school.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Lona, Kathryn41 is right. If I recall correctly my brother told me that the questions on the actual test were pretty easy. I don't think he looked at the material much, just read the questions at the back of the book to see what would be asked. Tell your daughter not to worry, she'll do fine.
