Hello,

My wife and I are in a difficult situation. We are currently living and working in Bangkok but our daughter is living with her grandparents in Russia. My wife's I-130 has been approved and we are now completing packet number 3 in Bangkok. Can we add our daughter to the second part of the application process (I 864, ds 230) or do I have to file a seperate i 130 for her and go through the same process? If all goes well and my wife's visa is approved how long does she have to enter the states ie how long is her entry valid? Or is it better if to file for our daughter directly from the states? If anyone has experience with this matter it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

When doing DCF or I-130 only through USCIS, you need to file 2 I-130 petitions 1 for spouse and another for child.

Only K-3 and K-1 have derivative visas for child, NOT CR-1.

You need to file another I-130 for the child.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Or is it better if to file for our daughter directly from the states? Your only option now is to file with the USCIS as you do not appear to qualify for DCF in Russia
