Anyone that has been through the interview in Manila....

Did you bring your USC fiance to the interview? Is that allowed?

I'm thinking of going back to the Philippines for my fiance's interview... I hope it is allowed. I hope I can be there while the Consulate questions him. I thought I read here somewhere that it is ok. Please confirm..

Thank you

Yes, it is ok for the USC to be there during the interview. As a matter of fact, in the CO's eyes, flying thousands of miles for that special day to be with the beneficiary is a plus and proof of bona fide relationship.:thumbs::thumbs:

Yes, your fiance can attend your interview, he only need to show his passport to the guards for entry. Although not a requirement, but it will be a "plus factor" if the petitioner will be there for the interview as he is the "best proof" of a "bonafide relationship" ---> his presence and support. My husband was with me during my interview. Good Luck on your interview.

Ya, but the humidity is like 90% isn't it? Kinda like Houston or Miami in the summer time.

I always felt wet over there.
