if the consulate looks for pay stubs and cert of employment. which in my case my husband does part time with his uncle and his mom (who owns there business) is this still valid even his working for his family member

Is he paying taxes? His tax transcript will support his contention that he can afford to sponsor you, if that's what you mean.

Also his employer can still write the letter explaining job description, salary, etc. even though employer may be family.

Could also use family member as joint sponsor.

There are many reasons that a visa can be denied besides support, the consular officer can and does give you a chnace to provide better support documentation, they rarely deny on the grounds of support.

that was very helpful. ;) so i can ask my mother in law to present a letterhead of his compensation and his certification him working there. ;) godbless everyone.
