Hello, guys!

Now you got me confused...

My husband sent the first package (with the I-130 form) on March 18th 2008, to the Chicago box. However we have not received the NOA1 (the receipt notice) yet. Tomorrow it is going to complete 2 weeks and we are already nervous about it because we want to apply for the I-129F as soon as possible so we can be together in the US.

Can we really mail the I-129F without the copy of NOA1 (as long as we add the letter explaining everything) ??? Because this would be great! But where should we send it? To the same Chicago PO box?

Thanks!

Oh why did your attorney filed 129-f without the copy of NOA from IR-130? it's important that it should be enclosed.. is why many are waiting for NOA from their filing IR-130 coz its a PREQUISITE in filing 129- F (K3 SPOUSE NON-IMMIGRANT VISA).. :o

you can send I-129f without NOA 1 from I-130. you place a cover page, or our attorney did saying we will follow up with the case number after receipt. they will hold it.

Dr. Bill

I-130 APPROVED on 5/1/08!!! Haven't gotten a letter yet, but it's supposedly in the mail ... No approval on the I-129F yet, though ... I'm wondering how long I should wait on that before deciding that I'm going with the I-130 alone ...

The way I see it, the goal of permanent residence is now well on its way - but I can still save some time in terms of getting my wife HERE if I go with the K3 because the processing time at the NVC is significantly shorter ... anyone know what the time difference is at the NVC between an I-130 alone vs the K3 "combo"???
