hi,

some says ir-130 and 129-f are being paired up..

since we almost have the same time frame, u just sent the 129-f this Jan. after getting the NOA1 from ir-130, and me too i sent after getting NOA1 from ir-130 this Jan. , does this mean the 129-f (k3) we filed will start counting the days from the Jan.? that's so unfair... they sent us delayed NOA1 so is why we just sent the 129-f after getting the NOA1.

HI AGAIN JAN. K3 FILERS,

MY HUSBAND JUST FILED FOR CHANGED OF ADDRESS ONLINE, AND SO BOTH OUR CASES WERE AGAIN WAS TOUCHED (FEB. 13, 2008)...

I TOLD MY HUSBAND TO ASKED TO THE USCIS CS , IF WE BELONG TO THE JAN. FILERS OR SEPTEMBER FILERS, THE GUY THAT HE TALKED FROM THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT WE STILL BELONG TO THE SEPTEMBER FILER (EVEN IF WE JUST FILED THE K3 THIS JANUARY DUE TO DELAYED NOA1 FROM IR-130)

AND NOW I AM CONFUSED? DOES THIS MEAN EVEN WE FILED THE K3 THIS JAN. OUR TIME STILL COUNTED FROM THE DATE THEY RECEIVED THE PETITION FOR IR-130 (SEPTEMBER)

SO CONFUSING.... ANYWAY, I WOULD LIKE JUST TO SHARE THIS TO YOU GUYS... IF ITS TRUE, THEN THAT'S GOOD THEN BUT IF ITS NOT TRUE , THATS SO UNFAIR BEC. OF DELAYED NOA1 FROM IR-130...

HOPE YOU GUYS ARE STILL PATIENTLY WAITING. AS FOR US , TRYING MORE.... (L) (L)

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE.. (L) (L) (L) EVEN THOUGH WE ARE THOUSAND MILES AWAY FROM OUR SPOUSE... :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

Hi everyone!

Yep, something is going on ......just checked our case status online and guess what??? our case was updated/touched Feb.14, too!!!!

Seems a bit strange that all our cases are being touched....and with the system as it is, I can't begin to guess why.

BUT ANY DAY THEY TOUCH OUR FILE IS A GREAT DAY!!

Hey guys, I knw there has been some confusion on this.. I have read so many different things about the procedures for filing a k-3. We are going to start the process soon as well. I have also heard the rumors/information out there about the K-3 not being an option any longer :( Has anyone gotten a solid answer on this yet?

Anyway, about filign procedures for K-3:

I found this on the uscis website.

How Do I Apply?

So that the non-citizen spouse and child may apply for a K-3 nonimmigrant visa for a spouse and a K-4 nonimmigrant visa for a child, the citizen must file Form I-130 on behalf of the non-citizen spouse with the applicable Service Center having jurisdiction over the citizen’s place of residence. The citizen petitioner will then receive a Form I-797, Notice of Action, indicating that the I-130 has been received by the USCIS. The citizen should then file a copy of this I-797, along with a Form I-129F on behalf of the non-citizen spouse and any children, to the Service Center where the underlying I-130 petition is pending. Use the address listed on the most recent receipt notice or transfer notice and include a copy of that notice with your Form I-129F.

Petitioners should be careful to follow all instructions on each form and provide the Service with all necessary documentation. Following adjudication of the Form I-129F, the petition will be forwarded to the applicable consulate so that the alien beneficiary or beneficiaries may apply to the Department of State for nonimmigrant K-3/K-4 visas

Lisa

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
