It's just a guest. But they are pretty close, most of the time. Mine was off by 1 day. :)

and remember, adjudicated does not mean you can enter the States. Your case is forwarded to NVC and then to the consulate in the beneficiaries home country.

Then package 3 and 4...getting the medical, police records, affidavit of support with the corresponding documents. Then they book your interview.

The whole process takes anywhere from 6 to 10 months. Sometimes longer.

Hang in there!!! (F)

Like Laura said, your case will be forwarded to the NVC, then to the Ben.'s country (U.S. Embassy) then there are packet's 3 and 4, medical etc. then finally the interview.

You can click on my timeline to see the dates. The philippines doesn't have a packet 3. I don't think Lira had to send anything back to the embassy. But different consulates do things differently.

Also....I forgot. While there are some very early filers (June, July) still waiting for NOA2 there are also a few October filers that have already recieved it. It is hard to put rhyme and reason to that but seems to be how it is. I wish a speedy process to you. We will have to keep in touch.
