I didn't say I didn't know about it, I said, I wasn't one. I think you might find the two things are slightly different. As for making blanket statements...which ones are simply untrue of christians? That priests are not meant to minister to everyone? Granted, my knowledge of confession is a little sketchy and yours should now be comprehensive after reading that document, so please feel free to correct my errors on that one.

Your ignorance is showing again.

Reading one document makes no one an expert. Years of study does.

That said, I am not sure that any christian would consider being an illegal immigrant a 'sinful' position. Clearly, they are at odds with federal laws, but I am not sure what that means in christian terms. Maybe a member of the church will enlighten us.

So she can judge others - whose religion/nationality is known yet she doesn't have to answer for herself?

no one has to answer to anyone...and it's not about being ashamed, that's just rediculous. It's not her fault that others like to divulge all of their personal details...

no no one has to answer to anyone. but, when you do know things about someone (because it was said to someone else) & take a swipe at them for it. thats chickensh!t.

Is that meant to mean something? Oh, I get it, I have an opinion on what I think is required by those who take confession as regards their religious and secular obligations but you can read a comprehensive document and not come up with anything that negates my opinion because you require years of study before you can have an opinion?

Or do you actually have something to add to the discussion?

 I admit I made that bit up, but I thought it seemed to fit. Feel free to swat away, gnats are very irritating and sometimes carry malaria.

if you purport to be a christian..is a direct hack at me

if you're ashamed of yourself...so be it..hide who you are

Then show your christian colours. Ashamed of who I am    That's just too funny.

Succour? Colours? Such a blatant display of superfluous 'u's is intolerable. You should be ashamed of yourself.

No idea what the original debate is all about-but-ashamed for the use of the letter u?

edit-what I think is irritating as all heck is those USCs who all-of-a-sudden start spelling stuff the British/Canadian way after hooking up with their foreign SOs and taking a holiday to England/Canada etc..

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

(01-28) 10:23 PST Chicago (AP) --

A Chicago church is again in the spotlight in the debate over immigrant rights.

Illegal immigrant Elvira Arellano (el-VEE'-ruh ah-ray-AH'-noh) took sanctuary in the Adalberto United Methodist Church for a year before she was arrested on a visit to Los Angeles and deported last August.

Now, another illegal immigrant, Flor Crisostomo (floor kree-SOHS'-toh-moh), has defied a deportation order and taken refuge in the same church.

Crisostomo is an illegal immigrant from Mexico arrested at a workplace raid at a Chicago site of IFCO Systems in 2006.

The 28-year-old told reporters at the church Monday that she chose to defy authorities to illustrate the injustice of U.S. immigration laws. :help: :help: :help:

Well Hopefully the federal Govt. will do the same with this Illegal Criminal as they did with Arellano

Deport her Illegal ####### back to Mexico.

She will get whats due her.
