Hi

I filed my I-130 on December 28,07 but Chicago received on 01/02/08. On the website of uscis, it states that they are targetting the completion by end of january. Has anyone have received thier NOA1? What will be the processing time for this year? Anyone have any idea? Also, how long would it take to my husband a visa on IR status? Anyone with answers or concers surely helps.

9/23/08: Approved

9/30/08: Case # received

10/06/08: E-mailed ds3032

10/08/08: Mailed ds3032

10/09/08: Signed by R.Austin

10/08/08: Paid AOS/IV bill online

10/09/08: Status shows paid online

10/09/08: Accepted ds3032

10/10/08: Express mailed AOS/IV package

10/14/08: NVC received AOS and IV Package

10/21/08: Case Complete (22Days, no RFEs)

12/02/08: Medical....Passed....

12/11/08: Interview passed, received VISA.....YAhhhhhhhhhh

received at Chicago lockbox 1/10/08

The wait begins.... :whistle:

I was expecting months for NOA1, but I remain positive and hopeful each day that I check my mail.

There is no more "expected time." With the recent backlogs and large numbers of new employees, I believe everything has changed.

Just trying to muster the energy (and the money) to do this again.

Mine arrived on 1-4-08 in Chicago.

Haven't heared anything either.

They didn't even cash the checks yet.

Others here received their NOA after a week.

I am kinda getting worried now.... :unsure:

AOS from J-1 - Chicago

2007-09-04 Married in the US on J-1

2008-01-03 Sent AOS+EAD application to Chicago

2008-02-13 Got a job - cannot work though

2008-02-28 Rejection Notice/ RFE - forgot $355 Check for I-130 /me stupid

2008-03-03 RFE sent back to Chicago

2008-04-04 Checks cashed

2008-04-07 NoA1 in mail

2008-04-11 Appointment Notice in Mail

2008-04-28 Date for Biometric Appointment

2008-05-13 I-765/ EAD approved

2008-05-20 I-765/ EAD received

2008-07-02 Interview

2008-07-03 Green Card Production Ordered

2008-07-14 Approval Notice sent (I know, weird order!)

2008-07-15 Green Card received (even though they call it Approval Notice)

I-751 (removal of conditions to receive perm green card) - California Service Center

Looks short, I know! :)

2010-04-19 Application to remove conditions sent

2010-04-23 App received

2010-04-27 Checks cashed

2010-04-31 NOA1 received

2010-06-03 Bio

2010-08-04 Application Approved: Card Production ordered

2010-08-16 Green Card received

No more USCIS till 2020! See you in 10 years!

Ours was sent on 01/18 and received on 01/21.

Been asking my husband to check the mail box every day!!! :D

I have been poking around in VJ and there isn't any certain timeline before you received your NOA1. Some received in a week time and some after months. So at the moment, all we can do is wait and keep our fingers crossed.

It makes us feel better to know that there so many of "us" out there. Wanting to be with our other half but circumstances doesn't allow it.

Yep,we got our NOA1,but the CSC are now workoing on august petitions,so we need some patiance.
