And be presentable but don't ever wear heels!

Good luck & God bless.

Presence of mind..that's what you need during the interview. In as much as they won't really ask for all of the forms you have prepared..It's better to always be ready with it and to keep everything handy. Do not hesitate to ask questions if there's something you needed to know..they don't bite.SMILE AND FEEL POSITIVE..Everything is going to be fine.. :D

Oh, BTW wear a business attire..It helps boost your morale and show them you mean business.Be friendly with your seat mates too..Talking to them will help you feel relax and they will help you watch for your number too... .specially when your attention is on someone else..hehehe

High heeled/Short heeled footwear doesn't really matter..It's what will make you comfortable..

You're getting there, Gaye! YAY! Pretty exciting and nervous-wrecking, isn't it? I remember, I got sick from all the pressure, excitement, anticipation, nervousness, anxiousness and stress while preparing for that particular day. I was still sick when I had my medical but it was a good thing it didn't affect any of the results. I was also sick at the time of my interview and couldn't eat. Thankfully, I had a wonderful time and the interview was very successful.

I think the only time that I really got to relax and returned to my normal state was when I was finally here with my husband. Wait, let me take that back... it took 6 mos. from the time I got here for everything to return to normal. Medical... then interview... then I only had 3 weeks left to spend with my family... then the frightening flight to US all alone... then the wedding preparations... then the wedding... then the AOS application... traveling here and there... adjustments to my new world... battle with homesickness... etc, etc, and then at long last, I got my greencard. Not dealing with immigration paperwork is like getting your life back on track.

Thank you, thank you, thank you maehugs3.gif

When I started this thread january, I didn't expect to have the approval and interview sched so soon. I was expecting NOA2 and interview sometime June or July. We wanted to take a short break from document preparation after submitting I-129F. But we got NOA2 earlier than expected and it took exactly 2weeks only from NOA2 to setting up appointment sched (i guess we got lucky). Definitely not enough time to prepare. So when we called April 1 and was given the option to have interview April 9 (NEXT WEEK :dead:), I totally freaked out!

I was expecting they will make us choose dates between May and June, not give us date just one week after calling (there's probably a some who resched their appointment leaving April 9 with vacant slots). We have not started with anything yet, Ricky has not even paid his taxes yet! So we opted to have the interview on May 23 instead.

You are absolutely right. TOTALLY NERVE-WRACKING!!! I'm afraid I might end up getting sick like you :( . My son is even having flu right now. It is summer time and the weather here just changes from VERY SUNNY HOT to RAINY, just the perfect recipe for catching colds and cough. I'm giving the kids double dose of vitamins now and I will probably start taking one myself just to increase our resistance to diseases. The coming medical is making me nervous more than anything. I do have the tendency to be hypochondriac.

I'm absolutely looking forward to taking my life back!

Tomato juice in the morning, pineapple juice the whole day and milk at night... For a month till my medical, I pampered myself with those, knowing that it would keep me healthy. I think if I didn't drink them, I'd be as sick as a dog the whole time. It helped too that I envisioned myself with my David already. It's definitely what helped me make it through successfully (besides prayers).

You just passed my thoughts and i just sent good vibes your way so you would get your NOA2 soonest.

I'll probably go for a spa a week before heading off to manila for medicl. It's a lot cheaper here than in manila... and yes, i will try your tips, i'll scout for aromatic candles next week.

Thank you for the prayers.. i am also holding you in my prayers always. (F)
