Speaking of random touches, the first AP document, which was issued in March 2006 and expired last spring, was touched today. ??!!

The AOS, sadly, hasn't been touched since July 2007.

Further proof that the touch often means nothing.

that sounds surreal! waiting for nearly a year for AOS and interview was already completed! Did you make an Infopass appointment?

We did a while back, but we were told at the interview (which was in May 2006) that the FBI name check wasn't completed. We've been waiting ever since. Unfortunately, our situation isn't unheard of--there's a whole thread in this section devoted to it. Mostly it consists of a bunch of us bitching about what a pain it is, but a few old cases (like, older than ours) have cleared recently.

My post here had to do with the randomness of touches. Our AOS has been touched a few times since the interview, but we don't get too excited anymore because we've been waiting so long! We applied two years ago and still we wait.

this happend to me too, my I-129F was approved for long time. but when i filed my AOS i got touch on my I-129F .. that means they go thru everything.
