Hello everyone. I would like to start this new thread for everyone who filed an I-130 at the VSC. I am an October 2007 filer and I know there are other forums for October filers but its hard to really determine the timeline when people file at different service centers since they process different timelines. So please post your timeline here if you file in VSC starting for filers in October 2007. Mine is as follows:

Sent I-130: 10.22.2007

NOA1: nothing yet :crying:

Please let me know if anyone else is in the same shoe. I have posted in other forums with basically the same question and people have responded but I am getting so frustrated with the whole thing that I want to start my own forum to better track this. Thanxs.

NVC Journey Total days: 75

04.09.2008: Case# assigned

05.12.2008: DS230 Entered into System

06.18.2008: Case Complete (So upset that it took this long 37days)

US Embassy:

10.29.2008: Interview Date Assigned

11.17.2008: Medical Appointment

12.03.2008: Interview Date (FINALLY!!!)**APPROVED**

12.08.2008: Visa Delivered

12.21.2008: POE JFK

VJ has that function already. Go to the top menu bar and hit Immigration Timelines. You can filter your searches on visa type, service center, consulate, and all kinds of different ways.

My blog

10/01/2005: Married in Toronto

02/15/2006: Began Canadian Immigration

09/19/2007: Withdrew CIC application (they still hadn't processed anything)

10/01/2007: Moved back to U.S.

IR-1 application through Montreal Consulate

10/26/2007: I-130 mailed to CA Service Center

10/29/2007: USPS confirmation of receipt of I-130

02/13/2008: NOA-1 received (107 days)

07/02/2008: I-130 approved

07/22/2008: AOS filed including EAD and AP

07/25/2008: NOA-1s for all 3 received

08/20/2008: Biometrics appointment

08/22/2008: Received RFE for Affadivit of Support and Medical

10/21/2008: Submitted I-865W in lieu of co-sponsor and medical info to NSC

11/14/2008: online case status not updated since filing of AOS in July 2008

01/20/2009: Received another RFE for Affadavit of Support Info

02/02/2009: Responded to RFE with brand new AOS based on 2008 tax return (if that doesn't shut them up, dunno what will)

02/19/2009: EAD card received in mail (no updates on Online Case Status ever made)

02/23/2009: AP received (again, no online updates)

02/26/2009: Received interview appointment letter for 4/6/09

04/06/2009: AOS approved for unconditional GC

04/21/2009: GC received

We filed on Sept 21, 2007 @ VSC and got our NOA1 Jan, 03

Going back to the UK now to awaite the NOA 2 and all that follows

CR-1 Journey

Got married...again...: 02/04/2008

I-130 sent: 02/07/2008

Left my husband after 3 wonderful months together: 02/07/2008

I-130 received @ INS 804616 signed for be V Bustamnte

Checked Cashed:03/05/2008

NOA1: 03/04/2008

Advance Parole- 11/23/2008

GC interview NOA- 11/30/2008

Work Permit 12/12/2008

GC Interview- 01/05/2009 APPROVED!!!!!

Thanks. I have been calling everyday and they tell me the same thing to just wait and see. They say its unlikely that my application is lost but I don't know what to do. Did you receive your NOA1 before or after they cash your check???

after check cashed from bank believe me you gonna get noa1 in 3 bussiness days dont worrry :thumbs:
