I would like to know this social group type helping Immigrants in Jacksonville, North Carolina with Immigration. I am not talking about US Immigration but a group between me and US Immigration like the American Legion is between me and the VA (veterans Administration)

My friend living here for ten years is convinced this service is existing yet and we invested 1 hour each yesterday to "google" and it does not seem obvious to find that information online anymore for whatever reason.

If you could help me about this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Here in Minnesota, there is an organization called the International Institute of Minnesota: http://www.iimn.org/

I'm not sure if there is something similar where you live.

Here in Rhode Island there are quite a few:

The Providence Catholic Dioscese

Progreso Latino

St.Theresa's Church

The International Institute

Juanita Sanchez Center

The Genesis Center

There are also a whole bunch of little offices who "claim" to help immigrants but I would be very leary of them.

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well, they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit, nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !

June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again, still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE

Looks like my post did not go through. So here it goes....

I read carefully this link:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/tem...00045f3d6a1RCRD

and it says that the petition to remove the conditions of residence, version 02/05/07 is accepted so my understanding is that the fee attached to it 275$ should be fine since the version is accepted yet. (instead of 465 plus 80 $ biometric fee)

So is it 275 or 465 plus 80 since I am using this old version?

Please confirm or infirm. Thank you.

You have to use the new version of the form. If you use the old version your entire file will be rejected and returned to you.

Regardless of what version you use, you will still have to pay the $465 + $80 because this is the new fee effective July 31, 2007. If you send in anything less than that, your application will be rejected and returned to you.
