Hi.

I got a letter today from the USCIS called I-797c,Notice of action.

it said USCIS recieved my visa pocket from the port of entry and I should hear from them within a month.

so is that normal or what ? and what's gonna happen next ?

I can't speak to whether the letter was normal or not, but at least you know USCIS received your file from the POE. The next step should be for them to send your conditional green card - conditional because you arrived in the US less than two years after you got married. That means you and your spouse will have to file an I-751 petition sometime in the three months before your conditional green card expires.

09/24/2009 Passport received

08/26/2009 Naturalization Certificate and Name Change Petition arrive back from State Department
