You're absolutely not alone. We jsut filed a few days ago and I already find myself desparately searching for other people's timelines in order to predict the amount of time the process will take and by what date we might be able to travel to the US (we are DCF-ers). Sadly, there don't seem to be any very recent timelines for our consulate....

You're right, it doesn't change anything and it is entirely irrational, but so is love. And the latter is the reason for which most of us are going through the entire procedure in the first place, right? So don't worry, you're kust doing what everybody else is doing - whether they admit it or not......

Huh?

Oh yeah, you're not the only one.

I've been checking daily from the start - keeping an eye on our case every step of the way. ^_^

I've been driven insane up to this point, nearly cracked in January (seriously, I felt like #######) - and now, WOOHOO! Finally near the end of this mess - ^_^ Interview in April, 2 days after D-Day.

( Er, Tax day that is. )

The moral of my story: Stick with someone who matches your own culture.

( This coming from an Arab who married an Arab from overseas... go figure. )

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth

Me too. I had the automatic emails set up and still would check it often..first once a week, then once every few days, then daily...then 3 times a day (only got this bad when it was close to time I expected to hear something based on other's timelines similar to mine).

Went through that craziness for both visa and AOS!! Now I'm on vacation from it until next year when we lift conditions!!
