Ok, we have the NOA 1, filed in September 11 of 2007, now its January, almost February 2008, this is through the Vermont Sercive Center, and i had biometrics on the 10th of October, however, wasn't toched after my biometrics.

What i'd like to know, is that if you have your NOA1, and you want to send "additional evidence", with the NOA1, do you think that it'll get touched? or maybe get them to look at the file and work it????

Or is it a case of wait your recepit number until its the time for them to look at it???

opinions,....suggestions.

They are just moving slow, or maybe the file got lost? i dont know.

I wouldn't send any additional evidence unless you are asked to by the service center. The chances of the new stuff meeting up with the old stuff is pretty slim and might actually confuse things if there end up being multiple files under your name.

Unless you get sent an RFE I wouldn't worry about it. Also, touches don't really mean very much. Throughout the whole visa process (K-1. AOS and so far in I-751) we've never received a touch.

I personally think there is nothing wrong in submitting or not submitting more evidences. chances are that if you will not get RFE, you will get approved. The only person who can help you good is by Infopass. You didnt mention which evidences you have submitted and what extra paper work you are planning to submit.?? if you provide some info about that, May be someone here will be able to better guide you.

Also if you dont care, Please fill your timeline. You will see a link on left side of the web page.

Aussielad, my file seems to have been passed over at CSC. People who applied long after me have been approved, but I have had no touches or any sign of activity (RFEs etc). I am actually thinking along the same lines as you. My original submission only included copies of tax returns, so I have ordered transcripts from IRS and am planning on sending them in the hope that someone will actually have to dig out my file. I will probably include a few more pieces of junk mail addressed to us both. I will let you know if it works!

Aussielad I filed before you and had biometrics done the week before you did.... I have not been touched yet either, so I dont think you have got lost in the system... I would not send additional evidence in the hope that it makes them dig out your file... I would wait and only send extra if you are requested to do so....

Even if you send in additional evidence you won't necessarily see a touch. During the AOS phase, my wife and I sent a certifed marriage certificate to replace the photocopy we originally included. We didn't know whether it made it into the file until we had our inverview. My wife saw it in the packet as the officer was flipping through it.
