Anyone heard of this movie? A gf and I went to see "The Kite Runner" last night, one of the trailers was for the movie, "The Band's Visit". I can't wait to see it! It looks like a good one.

I do, also. I like the little theater in the "artsy fartsy" side of town (Royal Oak) that shows indie films. That's prolly the only theater that will show this movie.

Yes, I saw the previews of the Band's Visit. It looks ok. I don't expect it to be a gut buster...more of light chuckle kinda movie.

I thought it was really good and very true to the book. I knew when the rape scene was coming so I took a bathroom break at that point. I don't think I could've handled watching that. I have sons that age so it would've traumatized me. Plus, child molestation/rape in general is a real sore spot with me.
