Surprise for my hubby's bday, got this over the weekend.

I live alone and I can't reach it so I'm having a tough time keeping it moisturized!

Married 12-30-05

Started our visa journey Jan 06.

01-06 - I-130, K3 shortly after

04-06 - switched to Canada Immigration

07-06 - Moved to Canada (PR almost complete)

07-06 - Changed again, back to US imm.

09-06 - Landed as Canadian PR

10-06 - DCF Toronto, Approved in 1.5 hrs!

11-06 - Interview Montreal (success!)

I-130

10-05-06 DCF in Toronto - Approved

10-19-06 Packet 3 received & sent back

10-20-06 Montreal receives P3

11-03-06 Packet 4 received

11-06-06 Medical

11-22-06 Interview / Visa approved

11-26-06 heading home, 6 day drive, my oh my

HOME SWEET HOME

10.24.08 - Mailed I-751 to CSC

Delivered at 9:03 AM on October 25, 2008

the itchies are the worst. I was so embarrassed yesterday at a baby shower, girl hugged me and then made the ICK face, she got ointment on her hand .... I tried to stop her but she hugged fast!

Try a clean spoon or spatula to help with the moisturizing :)

I have a very nice one on my lower back, maybe some day i'll post a picture.. I got it as a surprise for my husband b4 marrying ;)

I don't remember the itching that some have stated, but i do remember it hurting for days.. It felt like it was very sore/bruised so i couldn't sleep on my back.. I also do remember the normal flaking/peeling after a few days, and i remember freaking out bcz i didnt know if it was normal or not..

Can i ask you what the writing is on the right side of your back?

I got my first tattoo about a month ago, and I couldn't believe that it wasn't as painful as I thought it was going to be, but the itching afterwards was horrendous!!!!!!! It's on my ankle, and I'd wake up in the middle of the night scratching. Next time I'll put it where I can't reach!

6/19/2002- Met Online

11/10/2002- Met in person for the first time at Buffalo International Airport we spend a blissful but all too short week together.

2/23/03- David proposes on the beach in Melbourne Florida at sunrise during his second visit.

9/26/03- After much talk with USCIS we decide to go ahead and get married during David's third visit, with David planning on returning to Ireland the following week.

9/30/03- Phone USCIS to ask questions on filling out paper work and USCIS officer informs us that if David is already here he doesn't need to leave. After numerous calls to the Irish Embassy and two more calls to USCIS to confirm, we decide he will stay.

12/02/03- Petition for AOS recieved

10/8/04- EAD FINALLY arrives

11/10/2004- Our Son Colin Michael Kieran born two years to the minute after our first face to face meeting!

1/26/06- Recieved interview appointment letter.

3/09/06- AOS approved! David is a permanent resident with stamp in passport.

4/4/06- Green card arrives. We are now free to travel back to Ireland so David can see his family for the first time in more than two years.

Man, for me, it was actually MORE painful than i thought! I swear, i almost fainted because it was THAT painful, and im not exagerating! I had to give some girls that were waiting for a piercing some $$$ just so they can go get me something SWEET to drink from the convenience store!

Man, for me, it was actually MORE painful than i thought! I swear, i almost fainted because it was THAT painful, and im not exagerating! I had to give some girls that were waiting for a piercing some $$$ just so they can go get me something SWEET to drink from the convenience store!

I was SO scared at the beginning that I was holding onto the chair and the guy doing the tattoo had to remind me to breathe, and that was BEFORE he started tattooing. Once he started, I was like, "Phew, that's much easier than I thought." However, I had really bad labors with both kids, and that may have screwed up my tolerance for pain....lol Also, where did you get the ink? Some places are much more painful than others. I got mine on my ankle, and I found that was easily bearable. I have a friend who got one on her lower back and she was practically screaming.

Marriedmylove, i can swear that there is some writing on the right side of your back, not the tattoo though.... Did you have a tattoo before THIS one and you had it removed?

OOOOOOOOOH ha ha!! now I understand. That is actually marks from the bandage! lol!! I can't reach that stuff either. lol
