No, you can have certain seafood (with limits) ... which kills me because seafood is one of my favorite things to eat!.

The smoked salmon issue has to do with it possibly having listeria bacteria in it still (the smoking process apparently does not get rid of it). It was really hard when I visited my in-laws at Thanksgiving. My FIL smokes his own salmon that he catches himself (they live on this wonderful little island off the coast of Vancouver Island).

Where is this Mike the BBQ guy you speak of!!

Ohmygosh, he is AWESOME. He is here in Mount Dora, just past the flea market on 441. But he is only there from Thursday to Saturday from about noon to 8pm.... or whenever he runs out of chicken and ribs. He takes them right off the smoker as you order them. Absolutely fabulous.

Just finished dinner:-). Roast chicken (love those rotisserie chickens already cooked) with homemade potato salad, fresh asparagus and a tossed salad.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Dunno Krikit, from what I have read, I think I am supposed to avoid all forms of smoked salmon. I swear, when this baby is born, hubby is going to have to bring me a boatload of food to the hospital the next day, all the yummy stuff I have avoided for 9 months!!!
