Ours does not shut off ever! I have it set at 71 though, but I don't think it ever reaches that, except maybe in the middle of the night - it states it's 79 degrees in here right now, not sure how accurate that is.

Oh yikes. I would freeze to death! I have ours set at 80 during the day, then 77 at night.

(We probably should be having this conversation in the Weather Report thread but I'm scared to go in there. )

Yeah I actually thought twice about putting that in here

The sun went over to the other side of the house, so I did end up BBQing - unfortunately Mike is stuck at work, the phone system is messed up.

Just back from Canada. Ate lunch at the zoo yesterday .... nothing special. For dinner last night, hubby and I shared poutine, a smoked meat sandwich and a gyro. Very yummy!!! Had Timbits this morning and then had sushi for lunch. I was in heaven, as the closest sushi place to where we live is about an hour away or so. Hubby stocked up on ketchup chips and all dressed chips and was ecstatic to find his favorite brand, Old Dutch. Sadly, I could not find winegums anywhere :( Are they not popular in Quebec? I thought I had bought some there before, but now that I think about it, we might have actually been in Montreal (as opposed to the small towns in the Eastern Townships that we visited this trip).

I usually find winegums even in gas stations, like Esso! They always have those packs of candy, including wine gums. Mmmm Old Dutch!

Maybe I was just hitting the wrong gas stations :( I swear, I looked in several, plus and IGA grocery store. I even asked a clerk at one place and she pointed me to the wine section. Unfortunately, I don't speak French, and her English didn't seem that good, so I had to resort to charades to try to convey my desire for wine GUMS.

Trailmix, had a GREAT time! I'll post pics later. It was such a good zoo.

Joe's out of town on a business trip so I just treated myself to a big salad with chicken, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, olives and cheese - and a croissant. I'm now enjoying a cup of french vanilla Dunkin Donut's coffee and finishing up laundry. Sometimes it's nice just to be on one's own.

TOTALLY agree! I wish my husband would go on a business trip.

I got kind of excited last night when he received an emergency recall notification on the home phone. He was out so I had to call him on his cell to tell him because it kept ringing back every ten minutes because I wasn't him. Turned out to be a test. Booo. lol
