Tonight is taco night! Just have to go out to the store to pick up some sour cream and guac.

Anyway, Saturday night I met Nevada and her friend and we went to this Indian restaurant in Philly and it was SOOOO GOOD. The best samosa I have ever tried! Not greasy, just crispy and delicious. I am already craving to go back there. I love Indian food

Waiting for Joe to get home - he worked several hours south of Atlanta today. Have hamburger patties, fresh bread, 3 bean salad, steamed zucchini and sliced tomatoes and cucumbers waiting, since I don't know when he will get in.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Tonight I made Bibimbap, a Korean veggie and rice dish. It was SO awesome. You basically put steamed rice in your bowl, veggies such as bean sprouts, carrots, sauteed spinach, and zucchini on top of that, as well as some thinly sliced, cooked beef, and a fried egg with the yolk runny. Then you add a little bit of chili garlic paste and mix it all together! SO yummy. I just love sesame oil. It tastes awesome. It was a pretty high carb dinner which has been unusual for me lately, but that's okay, it's not all that often!

That sounds lovely! Well, except for the runny egg.:lol:

I sent leftover pasta with Gene to work and some of the fennel salad. I just love that salad. Tonight perhaps some bbq beef on a bun and a salad. I'm trying to not buy anything and use up things in my fridge and pantry as we're leaving Friday for 10 days.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm..... Indian. :luv:

Have you tried the samosas at Golden Grocers on Kerr? (In the plaza where Alternatives used to be... right at the railway tracks.) They are AWESOME. And at $0.45 they're the best deal on the planet. lol

Last night we had Thai as we were out and about. Tonight I am thinking fish and chips with mushy peas.

Mmm I love Bimimbop! Especially when it's good and spicy.

Not sure what we're having tonight, probably chicken marinated in thai peanut sauce and some veggies.

YES!! Golden Groceries is so good, they have delicious pakora there too. I would often pop in to buy half a dozen samosa, the price was the best.
