I am thinking of maybe having a barbecue tonight but we will see how it goes..

I want to try out a recipe I found in my Kraft Magazine.. take a chicken breast and place it on some foil and top it with some pineapple, green pepper and barbecue sauce and then wrap it up and throw it on the grill...

Sounds really good

We had subs for dinner last night, it's been a long time since I just had a 'sandwich' - so I had the turkey and ham sub - it was rather good.

Well it's my last night in the great north, so my Dad, Mom, stepmom, sister and bro in law went to a nice Italian restuarant in Oakville called Il Fornello.... Had cheese stuffed agnolotti in a blush sauce with brushetta, it was really good!

We should start one! We'll travel around for the summer, the VJ chip stand.

You're on!

Il Fornello's a nice restaurant. Haven't been in there in ages.

I can't remember what we had for dinner last night. Obviously quite memorable. lol. I know I didn't cook. Hmm. Oh, I remember! Mike's chicken and collards. Tonight my husband was out and about and brought back Pollo Tropical. I didn't cook all weekend! But that's mainly because my back/neck went out, so it's been a little difficult/painful to move around. I'm going to the chiropractor in the morning.

Aww Krikit, hope your back/neck feels better soon.

We had bruschetta chicken: I marinated chicken breasts in a balsamic vinaigrette, grilled them and then topped them with bruschetta topping anf shredded parmesan cheese. Hubby loved it! I think I'll make it again this week. I vary my bruschetta topping based on my mood. Tonight, the traditional tomato and onion and I added capers and a splash of balsamic vinegar. I didn't have fresh basil and I refuse to use dried basil for this.

Thanks Autumn!

Hmmm. Chicken bruschetta sounds quite good, actually. Maybe that's what we'll have! lol. I'll omit the vinaigrette marinade, though. I think I'll have it with an Italian salad which is to die for. It's romaine and radicchio and sliced mushrooms with lots and lots of fresh Italian parsley and basil with a balsamic vinaigrette and lots and lots of parmigiano reggiano shavings. mmmmmmmm

We had a grill yesterday. Zucchini, onions, mushrooms and red and yellow peppers. Some pork steaks with KC bbq sauce on them, and some rice. Don't know yet what I'll have tonight yet. There is some leftovers but not enough. Thunderstorms, so I don't think another grill....will have to think of something later!
