Potstickers with mixed Asian veggies in an oriental sauce

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Okay it was really good Indian food, my husband found a winner.

We picked up some beer on the way home by this brewer called Trӧegs and its really good. Kind of citrusy. It's nice. If you happen upon it, pick up the sunshine pilsner. :D

Yes! I thought about you when I went there! They make the best samosa!

There was a lot of other yummy vegetarian options too.

Tonight Mike is doing dinner and he is making bean burritos and stuffed poblano peppers. I am really excited.

Not sure... going to some friends of my fiance's aunt tonight for dinner. I think they're going to barbeque something. The live in downtown London somewhere off Wellington I think? These friends of his aunt's are having this dinner tonight as a pre-wedding get-together. It's a sweet thought! But, I know we're going to Hooks tomorrow morning for brunch to celebrate birthdays (my future MIL's is this week and my fiance's is in June).

Last night we had fresh made brats from a local meat market, grilled. I made a crunchy veggie salad with a vinaigrette dressing. You know the kind! Tonight I have leftover pork roast, and I'll make a broccoli rice casserole.

We had a 7-11 hotdog for dinner last night

Just sitting here and I said, do they have hot dogs at that 7-11?? My husband said they do, so off we went - as expected, it was a hot dog.

Tonight i'm making steak and something.

Absolutely not a problem - the creativity can still work in the dressing up of the burgers - and you're right - everything tastes better when cooked over an open fire.

I have gotten pretty bad with meals lately.. I am just too tired to make anything most of the time ..... I do try and cook during the week though., althogh sme meals are just simple, like fish and chips or hotdogs :P..... weekends we usually eat out :
