What's For Dinner?

going to be bad and have a microwave dinner but tomorrow I plan to make that yummy rice I made a few weeks ago, that has zucchini and ground beef and salsa in it.. mmmm can't wait... was going to make that tonight but I went shopping after work and got home too late

Maybe something simple like quesadillas or grilled cheese and a salad.

Your comment about quesadillas inspired me trailmix! So, I made chicken/cheese ones. They were very good. I'm going to have to root around in the freezer to come up with something for tonight though!

Well, Gene just called to say he's taking a half day off. He suggested I take some steaks out of the freezer for him to grill.

Hmmm. I haven't had dinner yet and I'm getting peckish. I think, maybe, I'll make some homemade cream of asparagus soup. Guess that means I'll have to go to the store for some leeks. Unless I use regular onions, I guess. But I'd rather use leeks.

Made a greek pasta salad tonight. Was quite yummy.

made garlic chicken in the crock pot. made it before a few times and it is always yummy.. just waiting for the rice to cook and then I am going to dig in.. I feel sorry for hubby to always have to eat leftovers

Well, I went to get the steaks out and decided to have them tonight instead of last night. Last night I took out some chicken sausage that had spinach and feta cheese in it. Yummers. From Costco!

My cream of asparagus soup turned out fabulous! We had it with fresh baked mini french rolls. The ones available from your grocer's freezer. They were good!

Tonight? I'm thinking Mike's BBQ.

I'm just about to make breffrus. Bacon and eggs with hash browns, I guess. Friday night I made fish & chips. Had some leftover batter so I made onion rings as well. Last night we were out (see OT thread) and I had a cheese tray for supper. lol. Actually, I only had a little bit.... even with my husband sharing (he had a proscuitto sammidge and salad) I couldn't eat it all, so I brought it home. Tonight I am going to make Thai green curry chicken and jasmine rice. I've had a craving for it since Friday.
