I did crispy chicken with those french's fried onions. Then I made a dipping sauce with ranch dressing mixed with franks red hot sauce. It may sound gross but its really good. Also had criss cross baked potatoes and green beans on the side.

I love frenchs fried onions. I put them on salad sometimes. What are criss cross baked potatoes?

The Mexican was soooo good... I had a lime frozen margarita, 2 bean and cheese burritos, mexican rice and refried beans on the side... and of course chips and guac!

I just take a potato and slice it into about 3-4 peices and then get a knife and cut down into them in a criss cross shape, but not all the way down and then I brush butter on them, add a little salt and stick them in the oven. I am sure there's a proper name for them but I call them that.

Tonight is left over baked ziti from Sunday.

so I have my beef stew simmering in the crock pot as we speak...

I tried a new recipe as I didn't have beef stock... just dredged the beef in flour and salt and pepper, seared it in a pan and then through it in the crock-pot.. added some potatoes, enough water to cover, a packet of onion soup mix, some Worcestershire sauce and a dash of paprika... will add some frozen vegies about half way through.. I don't have any fresh vegies or I would have added those instead...

Pizza soup sounds good. What's the recipe? :)

I made meatloaf and steamed veggies. Hubby said he really liked the meatloaf. I changed my basic meatloaf recipe a little .... used a combo of ground pork and ground beef instead of just ground beef, added some french fried onions as well as a diced raw onion, threw in a splash or two of worcestershire sauce, topped it with a glaze of mustard, brown sugar and ketchup and then sprinkled more french fried onions on top. I blame the french fried onions thing on Nev and Jill :)

Tomorrow was supposed to be greek salad and chicken souvlaki but Mike is working near a deadline so he has meetings late tomorrow night.. so I may just make a caesar salad for Ethan and I and wait until Thursday. But Ethan has a loose tooth and its sore, so maybe I should just make a soup. Ahh decisions decisions.
