Had my crawfish. They were yummy. Have to admit- I'm still a little hungry. They are a lot of work for a little amount of food. I may be boiling up a hotdog in a little while :)

They look like little lobsters!

I am not a fan of fish or seafood - except shrimp and I like lobster as long as someone takes it out of the shell for me.

I'm such a suck when it comes to that stuff!

I LOVE me some seafood!!! Especially lobster and shrimp ... well okay and clams and mussels too ... and fish and crab ... I love oysters, but oysters don't love me :( Hubby has forbidden me from eating them since I have a tendency to turn red and get all nauseous and dizzy and stuff. He's such a party pooper!

We had Thai tonight ... I had shrimp and scallops with hot basil sauce, hubby had tamarind fish, mom had pad see ew with shrimp. We had calamari, fried tofu and curry puffs for appys. I am STUFFED!!!

I can't eat seafood or shellfish, it makes me sicky....

My Mom came home from work and was exhausted today, so I made us a nice spaghetti dinner. She really enjoyed having me cook for her as she lives alone. Then I went to a local pub with my friends and we shared nachos and some laughs.

I have just never liked most fish - whether it is the look or the taste - not sure. Perhaps a bit of both. I have tried lobster once or twice, didn't care for it. However, in a way I am always glad about it because whenever someone says lobster or shrimp other people get all dreamy and go lobbbbsttteeerrr. I don't do that lol

Burgers on the grill, baked beans and salad. Then later, hubby and I went out for a date ... had drinks and shared steamed mussels in a garlic white wine sauce. MMMM! I could eat mussels every day.

We had an early supper tonight since we had tickets for the symphony this evening (nice concert) so dinner was roast pork, mashed potatoes and wax beans. Have some mashed potatoes and gravy left over for tomorrow - no more roast pork though - had just enough for dinner.

I've started writing out "menus" two weeks in advance and sticking them to the fridge. It helps for when my husband wants to bring a friend home from work to hang out, and it's one less thing I have to think about. Tonight is homemade turkey burgers on fresh baked buns with coleslaw. (Hey, until I can work, all I have time to DO is cook!) I actually ran out of ideas at the end of the last day I was writing, so according to my menu, next Monday night we're having "Puma". Either my husband hasn't read that far yet, or he thinks it's a great idea, because he hasn't said anything.

My husband's eternal quest is to find somewhere he can get moose meat for me to cook, since he's wildly curious about all the stories of moose stew and steaks my grandmother has told him. We also continually argue over whether or not bannock is just a biscuit (it's not!).

"Your mom is in my head right now, and she's saying don't do that."

"For Sale. One Parachute . Used only once, never been opened. Small stain."
