I'm craving something noodly. Maybe some pad thai or yakisoba...

PAD THAI! I have yet to find good pad thai here. I am so excited to go home next week and go to my favourite thai restaurant

The best Thai food I ever had was in Vancouver- when I was there for my K3 interview.

There is a place here that isn't too bad- the cashew chicken is fab.

I'm a little sad today.. not sure why... just feeling blue.. wonder if hubby will go for take out tonite :(

Sorry to hear that E! I hope he goes for take out and does something sweet for you. (F)

Awww sorry to hear that Em! It happens - maybe a little homesick?

Well I hope you and your Husband have a lovely evening - with good take out and that it cheers you right up :)

Went a different direction and decided on BLT sammies. Went to Whole Foods and bought some yummy fresh bread. I also got some butternut squash crab bisque- I tried a bit and it is amazing. Mel is not a huge soup fan so I hope he won't eat any of it :)

Aldi's had bacon wrapped filet mignons on sale so I bought two, then did seasoned mashed potatoes, cauliflower and a salad. Yummy dinner!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Ohh I like that!

We ended up ordering pizza

Still no food to speak of in the house

I honestly don't like eating a bunch of non-homemade food, so today there will be groceries - we really need to hire someone to shop for us haha.

In Canada they have grocerygateway.com, where they deliver you your groceries and even put them in your fridge! I wonder if they have something like that here.

I like that!

Last night I made a fancy shmancy rustic Italian pasta. Not quite sure what we'll have tonight.

Oh! And shrimp cocktail. Don't ever buy Emeril's frozen shrimp. They're horrible.
