We went out to this delicious Mexican restaurant tonight called Las Margaritas.... It's so unbelievably good! I swear I was Mexican in a prior life, I love Mexican food and can eat it every day! I got a bean burrito, cheese enchilada, it comes with Mexican rice! And you get these yummy chips with salsa right when you sit down. The guac is soooo good there too, made fresh! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Glen got beef tacos and said they were the best he ever had!

We ate out Mexican last night too at our favourite Mexican restaurant - real Mexican, not Tex Mex. Tonight Joe made a homemade split pea soup - very tasty - and as usual we have enough left over for several meals:-). Perfect for our wintry weather though - it's been snowing non-stop here since 11 am.

Mike is making homemade pasta right now for lasagna. Its gonna be yummeh.

I picked up a pasta maker at an Antique market just before Christmas. I haven't tried making any yet though. It looke like a meat grinder or something! Very heavy metal. I hope it has a recipe book with it, as other than gnocchi, which doesn't need a press, I've never made pasta. I may be asking for some dough recipes Sprailenes!

I made that orange chicken last night. It was pretty good! I also made a combo rice/cauliflower dish that you cook in the oven to accompany it. It too was good. We had enough leftovers for supper tonight, but I sent some for Gene's lunch, so now I'll have to think of something else. Maybe I should get that pasta maker out?

Last night was pizza.... homemade of course! Tonight I'm making Glen get takeaway on his way home, because the finale of the Bachelor is on and I'm not missing it to cook dinner! Maybe we'll get Chinese.

Homemade pizza is my greatest find, I must say. We make mini ones on pita bread, and we can controlw hat kind of cheese, what kind of sauce and how much, and whatever other toppings we want. One of my new favourite meals down!

Tonight Im winging it, it seems :)

Since its so snowy outside my son and I decided to have an indoor summer party tonight so we're going to have lemonade and burgers and homemade potato chips.

Going to grill them with my george foreman 360.

We still need to get out our summer clothes and choose an outfit to wear. So excited! :D
