Well, tonight is baked chicken, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and lettuce salad - still trying to keep it all warm as Joe is still at work and it is now 7:25 - he has late meetings on Tuesdays, poor guy!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Lamb chops, couscous, salad and pumpkin pie....but Phil doesn't have much of an appetite so he didn't eat any. Maybe it's the new medicine they put him on.

Spare ribs, fried mash potatoes, salad for tonight.

I made bbqed hamburgers last night, fries done in the oven and some asparagus. Oh and I found if I wrap my fresh asparagus in paper towel and then cling wrap and leave the end open it keeps much better. Never had to do that in Canada - but of course it is much dryer there.

Tonight...hmm, not sure.

I'll have to try your aspargus tip. I've taken to buying them the day I'm cooking them because they just don't stay fresh at all! One day after buying them it seems like the tops get all yucky!

I don't know what I'm going to make or have. I have some ribs left over...they were really good last night. I didn't make a salad, I had some leftover fresh beans, so made them instead. Maybe rice with the ribs, and a salad to accompany tonight. I did find what looked like a very very good orange chicken recipe that I want to make, but I may leave that for tomorrow night.

I had thawed pork chops yesterday and then decided I didn't want to make dinner - then decided I would so quickly threw some rice with chicken stock in a pan, bbqed the pork chops and put some salad on the plates.

It was really good - plus - my Husband picked up some Sweet Thai Chili Sauce the other day. so I pretty much ate everything with that - I love that stuff.
