Hubby and I are going out tonight to celebrate our anniversary (as we were able to get a babysitter this evening, but not tomorrow). Not sure where we are going yet .... just so excited to have a date with my hubby.

having ham slices baked with a mustard and apricot jam glaze with banana peppers, boiled potatoes with butter and 3 bean salad. One thing I really like here is you can buy baked ham ends and pieces really inexpensively and then use them in a variety of ways. Who needs to have perfect ham slices all the time?!

I made pizza tonight, but it was pretty bad. :( I had a brain fart and turned the oven to 400 degrees instead of 500 degrees. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't really all that brown. It was cooked but it wasn't crispy like thin crust should be! Oops. Oh well, next time I make it, it'll be better!

I am going to have chicken Alfredo.. I cheat and use jarred sauce though.. last time I tried Classico's roasted red pepper Alfredo sauce.. today I will use Classico's sun-dried tomato Alfredo sauce..

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
