quiche tonight, with caesar salad and homemade caraway rye bread. Date loaf with custard for dessert. Since we have company I'm making 2 quiches so there will be leftovers for lunch. One is green onions, red and green peppers, turkey bacon, spinach, monteray jack cheese and spices (Italian, strong on the basil); the other is regular onion, green pepper, eggplant, turkey bacon, spinach and cheddar cheese with Italian spices but strong on the dill. In the oven baking now.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Well I was looking at the bbq out there an i'm thinking I could move it closer to the door and blah blah blah - then I thought, or I could just not cook those!

So I made the baking powder biscuits and scrambled eggs with green pepper and onion - the only non-canned vegetables in the house.

My Husband got a lot of stuff at the grocery store last night !

Tonight, the steaks, potatoes and some salad....wooot vegetables woooot!!

I know! We had a good giggle over that one. I don't think she understood our sense of humour because she hasn't been back. :o:lol:

Actually, it's not such a big deal. Our real anniversary is in November. Groundhog Day was when we did the formal ceremony with the family. LOL

Happy anniversary, E!
