We WERE going to make sushi again tonight but instead we're going out for mexican for my BIL's bday.

I have been on a strict diet so I am hoping for the will power to order a salad and not the chicken taquitos... :( Oh but they're so yummeh.

Hello everyone,

I have to admit that I have been coming to this thread for a very long time and just reading what everyone is making, I love it :) Today for dinner I am going to make yellow rice w/ pigeon peas, a pork roast, and salad.

To Blessed to be stressed:) I realize that all things have a purpose and a time.....have faith and the Lord Almighty will provide... when the time is right, he NEVER fails!

I am so jealous reading about the Canadians who get to meet each other (Kathryn's lunch with Carla and Gene) .... I wanna meet someone too. Somebody come to Northern New Hampshire! It is only supposed to be in the -20s F tomorrow .... so pleasant and enjoyable (said with much sarcasm). If someone sends me a plane ticket, I'll come visit there!!!

If I win the lottery I'll send you a plane ticket, Autumn!

I had the fish and chips! They were yummy. But not the mushy peas. They weren't made right.

The texture was wrong!

But I did not have that anyway. I had salad with chicken and unknown dressing. I thought it was odd that the dressing was already on the salad? The good thing was that the dressing was nice (no idea what it was).

Well, we had fish and chips tonight - whiting dipped in egg/milk and then cornmeal and pan-fried, and seasoned French Fries baked in the oven - oh, and with a salad, of course (hehehe).

Mike made szechuan beef tonight over rice noodles... and I baked a cake... except my buttercream icing went wonky somewhere and I have to start the icing all over again. I don't know what happened, it works every single other time. :(
