so I decided to fry up some bell pepper, sausage and onion and then make a simple gravy with margarine, flour and milk etc .. and then serve it over egg noodles, which are hubby's favourite noodles at the moment....

last night i made these great mini pizzas on greek pita's. Made my own sauce, cooked up some chicken, added some broccoli, colby, mozzarella and feta cheeses

I call foul! xtinab is just showing off because she has cheese at her house.

Our Ma Po Tofu turned out quite yummy. While I was making that I also made Billy Joel's wife's meatloaf recipe..... with my own modifications, of course. It's funny because I like to listen to music while I'm in the kitchen. So I have my radio tuned to this one station that plays really good music during the day but pretty much sux at night. I call it the Billy Joel and Elton John station, because that's all they seem to play. The first time he came on I said "Ha. I am making your wife's meatloaf." The next time he came on I said "God save me from Billy Joel" and put in an R&B CD.

So, yeah. Meatloaf tonight. I think I'll have it with peas and mashed potatoes.

I know. And they're not very good, either. They completely changed the taste of my homemade bbq sauce. I actually brought two Crosby cartons back with me the last time I was in Canada.

That Pork Picadillo Pie looks good krikit, anything that includes green olives has to be good.

I didn't know that molasses here is different - so I will blame the mediocre beans I made on that. I tried to fix them numerous times - they never tasted right!

 at the Billy Joel meatloaf/radio thing. Sooo I guess you talk to yourself hmmm.

I just took out some ground turkey - will probably make shepherd's pie.

You can also blame the ketchup for the mediocre beans if you're buying it from the US. It affects my bbq sauce too. D'OH! Another person I have to kill!! :bonk:

Yes, I talk to myself. LOL. It's like any other relationship, really. We laugh, we cry, we argue. Some of the things that come out of my mouth I just find hysterical. I have no need for friends, really. I'm quite happy on my own.

Yeah I do too, but wanted to confirm you did before I said it :hehe:

Oh and you shouldn't kill me because em brought it up. Yeah I believe I used the American ketchup for the beans too, if I used ketchup, I can't remember. I dont like to use my Canadian ketchup in recipes lol
