I'm making dough for hotdog buns, hmm not sure it looks right, will have to wait and see.

I love how you make dough, that's so healthy and better than store bought!! I wouldn't even know where to start, I guess you need a breadmaker!!

It's an absolute piece of cake.

You can get a breadmaker at Walmart for like $50 and give it a whirl!!

Oh wow, thanks! I never imagined they were so affordable, I may just get one this weekend! I do have a Walmart gift card from Christmas itching to be spent!

Or you can pretend you're a pioneer and do it by hand!

My husband has started doing this. He also bought a terra cotta plant base plate thingy and puts his bread on that in the oven.

He watches too much Good Eats.

Years ago bought a breadmaker, used it for a bit, then just collected dust on the counter!!

Home made chicken pot pie tonight! And Amerato and coke, yummy

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

They were homemade.

I have never had them before, I am not a fan of non-traditional potatoes :P

My son and husband liked them... I didn't.

Did you use yams Sprailenes or sweet potatoes? I didn't know this but the difference is that a yam is orange and deep in color but a sweet potato is yellow, much lighter. I don't like yams in anything really but I LOVE sweet potatoes. Also, sweet potatoes have more nutrients than regular potatoes but taste almost exactly the same! If you used yams maybe you would like sweet potatoes instead.
