liver and onions tonight. I breaded the liver in seasoned cornflour, then panfried it in olive oil after stirfrying the onions. Didn't plan as well as I could have though - had hoped to serve broccoli with it but we're out so used cauliflower instead. The only problem is cauliflower is white - and so were the boiled potatoes - so a white and brown dinner. Did have a salad at the side and then fresh blueberries and strawberries for dessert (really good price at Aldi's today).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I made a pan of chicken pot pie. Easier than individuals pies. Was very yummy. Sent leftovers with Gene to work today so we can't have that tonight. I should make something with fish, but I didn't take the salmon out the other day like I said I was going to. Hmmm, no idea then what's for dinner tonight! Maybe a zuchinni casserole, except I have no zuchinni!

I don't want to get many groceries as we're on vacation late next week and I want to clear my fridge out!

Yeah those zucchini casseroles with no zucchini are preeeeettty slim pickins :hehe:

So we had 'the' burgers last night - pretty darn good. I was going to take a picture of Mike's burger and yeah - camera battery was dead. I just had 1 piece of bacon and a piece of pineapple on mine - he had alllll the fixings - barring the beet which we decided to skip.

Not sure what is for dinner tonight. Hotdogs?

I'm making dough for hotdog buns, hmm not sure it looks right, will have to wait and see.

I love how you make dough, that's so healthy and better than store bought!! I wouldn't even know where to start, I guess you need a breadmaker!!
