Carla and Krikit...those crackers are great, I hope you enjoy them!

I think the strangest burger I ever saw is Carl Jr's breakfast burger. It's got a hamburger, bacon, egg, cheese, hashbrowns, and ketchup. It was VERY weird. I suppose it would have been weirder with lettuce and tomato and stuff that's for sure. :D

I feel the urge to just serve consommé this evening. What with images of half-eaten dead guys and nasty burgers I am feeling super nauseated at the moment.

Ick! Guess you didn't want to be a CSI when you were a kid!

I'm not going to click on that link, it sounds gross!

I wandered in to off topic yesterday, out of boredom I guess - in to a thread bashing people who are overweight.

I tire of so many ignorant people with their lack of compassion for others.

I was into OT yesterday and posted one comment. I didn't see the overweight thread. That seems to be a constant here on VJ for whatever reason. I'm very dismayed at comments I've heard and hear from people who I expect better. I commented long ago on a thread like this, and people who I had come to like on VJ were very smarmy and said things like "get over it!", "can't you take a joke?" "just trying to lighten things up!". Hmmm, I just looked up, and this is in the What's for Dinner thread?:lol:

Yeah I posted a longggg comment and thought, hey, I should move this to the vent thread maybe...shouldn't really put it in off topic - then I looked up too :hehe:

I made Slow Cooker Thai Chicken with stirfried veggies and crab rangoon! Yum!

1/3 cup peanut butter

1 tsp soy sauce

2 tsp lime juice

1/2 cup sweet chili sauce

1/2 cup sambal olek (chili garlic paste)

Mix all together and pour over 6 chicken breasts in the slowcooker. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8.

I actually used 3/4 cup of the sweet chili sauce and only 1/4 cup of the sambal olek. I like things spicy but not quite THAT spicy! :P It also cooked in 2 hours on high which was great. SO yummy!
