OH Carla .. we use ours all the time.. for burgers, fish, chicken, just about every meat we have.. It's too cold now to bbq outside, so we enjoy the Foreman in the winter.. and we got a new one that has removable plates.. SUPER easy clean up!

It's never too cold to BBQ! I used to shovel a path to mine. What kind of Canadian are you? Wear a toque!

ha ha.. ah.. see that's the rub.. hubby does the BBQ'ing at our house.. he's too lily-livered to get out there and BBQ at -14C! :)

Well, that makes much more sense. American pvssy. lol

What the heck? Pvssy is sensored?

HEY!!!! I'll have you know missy, that I am the American in this relationship and I am the one who can deal with the cold better than my BC husband. He was spoiled by living in Vancouver and now has to exist in Northern New Hampshire. We're probably going to end up moving down South because of him. Not all Americans are pvssies!!! LOL

Last night, we had the yummiest crockpot beef stroganoff. I used sirloin tips instead of stew meat because they were cheaper, lots of fresh mushrooms, cream cheese, worchestshire sauce, a little black pepper, diced onion, minced garlic, cream of mushroom soup, a bit of sour cream and then added a little flour to thicken it. Served it over egg noodles and it was fantastic! That's what we will finish up tonight too.

I think I'm just going to ask my husband to pick up some soup and salad from Crispers on his way home. Everyone's entitled to a day off. Besides..... he offered. Even if it was on Sunday. LOL

Sounds like a good idea. We have never had Crispers but I would like to try it, wonder if they have one in Maitland.

Well the dough will be ready in about 20 minutes, I think I will make a loaf of bread and some hotdog buns and we can have hotdogs tomorrow. Tonight - pork chops and kraft dinner with salad.

Crispers is awesome.

Ohmygosh! I forgot to mention that I made a sweet potato pie using this recipe: Sweet Potato Pie

It is absolutely fabulous! I almost didn't make it because the picture makes it look so terrible, but it comes out way better than that. My MIL had given me a ton of sweet potatoes at Christmas and I was trying to figure out how to get rid of them. I think I'm becoming a southern gal.

Do you want some sweet tea with that doll?

You know, I have had sweet- sweet potatoes before, and i had a bite of some sweet potato pie a few weeks ago and it's really good - However! I seem to have a hard time mentally in dealing with a potato being sweet.

If that makes any sense
