well she redeemed herself today :P we went out for lunch and she grabbed the check before my hubby could...

today my hubby and I went to the grocery store and got a bunch of groceries.. so we won't be eating out much anymore...

so I feel kind of guilty for trash talking my SIL now

I was grabbing a pile of stuff that I had bought today and on the top was this bag with some stuff in it that I thought was mine so I took it upstairs and when I got there I looked inside and saw a gift card for the grocery store I usually shop at and one for our favourite restaurant... she must have bought them today when she said she was going to buy package of Vegetable soup mix... :P

leaving the lights on isn't trash talking. we all know the frustration of that one. That was very sweet of her though. :star:

oh I guess I should have been more clear. I feel bad about trash talking about her for not helping pay for things

yeah, I really don't mind but I figured they would help out a bit more seeing as how they are staying with us... she doesn't really help with cleaning up after meals either....

You would so be in trouble if krikit was here this morning, she would be sending you back to OT!!

Does your Brother help with cleaning up after meals, dishes etc Marilyn?

Anyway, we did have the steak sandwich last night, it was very very good! I didn't even make potatoes with it, just the garlic bread as everyone knows you don't need potatoes if you are having bread :hehe:

I did make a banana cream pie though - that was good!

Not sure what's up for dinner tonight, we are low on groceries. I'm thinking, as Mike gets off early tomorrow, perhaps we will go to the grocery store after work.

Hi Everyone,

Hmmm...In case you were wondering, during the last week, dinner for me has been:

-Mashed Potatoes, Potatoes from a Can, Fresh Baked Potatoes, Potato Chips....lol...as you can see lately I've been having a "craving" for Potatoes!...

-Olives and Pickles...lol...you should have seen the  looks on my in-law family's faces during Christmas dinner when I "craved" and ate the entire small dish of the Olives and Pickles there... (lol...I'm sure they forgave me for it then, when I "spilled the beans" and told them I was pregnant)

Oh well, at least I'm getting my appetite back...can't complain too much here....lol....

Ant (Still wating, Still pregnancy "craving"....)

Olives and pickles...that's the 'stereotypical' craving so they say. I never craved anything while pregnant.

So for dinner tonight I was thinking of making chicken curry - but as it is NYE, perhaps we will order in or pick something up.

tonight I think I am going to make fajitas with the leftover beef from the other night... I have a chicken fajita spice mix but I don't think that will matter if I use it with beef :P

ok so I just polished off the rest of the spinach dip that the SIL made when she was here.. all I had to eat it with was some chips.. it was good but now I feel a little stuffed and bleh...

I might make the fajitas later if the hubster doesn't get home too late...

Last night I had a steak salad and my Husband had a burrito, from qdoba, where we got them once before.

Mine was not very good and I didn't finish it, he liked his though.

Not sure about tonight, i'm thinking either grilled cheese or something with potatoes.

When pregnant I craved hot wings... probably explains maybe why my son was colic and subs! Oh my god, I ate so many subway sandwiches!

Today we're having our New Years day dinner... roast with potatoes and other things. My husbands cooking it.

Donne moi une poptart!
