We're going out for Thai food tonight. It is my birthday today and I got to choose the restaurant. I love Thai so much. I am already planning what I want .... maybe massaman curry .... beef satay .... calamari .... too much to choose from and I am hungry now so I want to eat everything.

Happy Birthday Autumn!! Hope you have a wonderful birthday :)

I do not know what's for dinner, I need to go stare in the freezer and make a decision.

I always find that the first time I go and stare into the fridge or freezer I dont find what Im looking for. Its not till I go back the 3rd or 4th time that I find something different that I want to make :P

Whatever we have for dinner, I hope the coffee and two cups of tea I've had this morning are gone by then :s

Well, tomorrow I try my hand at making perogies by myself "unsupervised" as my husband says, for the first time! ~giggles~ :P I'm a little nervous but I'm sure it will be just fine! :P I am a little frustrated though because I can't seem to find dry curd cottage cheese anywhere! Cottage cheese perogies were what we grew up on in my family, so I really want to have some for Christmas. We'll see. I've got one last place to check tomorrow- a little Russian market. If they don't have it, I'll either make some myself, or try a Mexican cheese that is similar. Who knows?!

Just buy some cheesecloth and you can drain away the whey.

We are having a Christmas party tonight. I'm doing a huge pot of Jambalaya, a spiral cut ham, roast beef, turkey, cheese and stuff for sandwiches, veggie plate, chips, dips and hummus, meatballs.

Wow, sounds like a lot of work MissStacey - but i'm sure your guests will enjoy it :)

Stace, I wanna come!!!! Sounds yummy.

Last night, we had calamari, beef with peanut curry sauce, chicken with a Thai sweet and sour sauce and brownie bottom cheesecake for dessert.

Tonight I think we will just have a salad and pasta with tomato sauce.

Tonight we went to one of the neighbourhood pubs for dinner at about 7 and being a sports bar, we caught a hockey game on one of the screens... Toronto @ Pittsburgh! We ended up staying for the whole game and having a pub night. It was great! I had a Grilled Turkey Club with a salad, and Buddy had a Burger along with some great Beers. The bar we were at has a Beer tour where they have a list of 100 different beers and you have to get through them all before the end of the year, so we were kind of playing catch up for him.

And to top off the night, the leafs won, 7-3!!! Goooooo Leafs! Of the 20 flat screens in,AND all the others being on football, we made sure ours was left on that channel and we were the only ones watching, but it was awesome!
