There's something weird about the flu shot.

Well, my best friend worked at an Old Folks home where flu shots were all the rage. I mean it's geared towards the elderly and people are sick. She said though, that every year, among the people who TOOK the flu shot, more of them died than those who didn't. She also said that the nurses that she spoke to that administered the flu shot wouldn't take them because they knew what was in them. I don't know exactly everything about the flu shot, but I do know that I'm not a fan of ANY chemicals and I try to stay away from them if I possibly can. I used to get flu shots every year, but they always made me sick. Now that I don't get them, I don't get the flu. Anyhow, that's just my opinion.

I suppose you could call it a conspiracy. The big push behind the flu shots... and the government funding to keep them cheap, is to try to curb massive flu epidemics. The strains of flu virus in the immunization are supposed to be some of the more contagious strains.

Why could you call it a conspiracy? well... if 1/2 of the workforce is at home sick, not making money... thats that much less you can be taxed for, that much less product being made, and overall bad for the economy.... ok.. yea... its a far cry to call it a conspiracy.. but the foil hat wearers could cling to that.

As for getting sick from a flu shot... Its not uncommon to catch a cold after any immunization. While your immune system is busy fighting off the fake flu, its left somewhat vaunerable. At least thats the way its been explained to me....

all sorts of mercury this morning. this thread made me go out and try to find how much mercury is in a vaccine. Then while looking for that and kind of reading the NY Times, I saw this article

the highest mercury in a vaccine is 25 micrograms per dose. That's the same amount of mercury that is in 2 oz. or less of the tuna that the NYT article looked at. And I love sushi, who eats only 2 pieces??

yeah the house that I grew up in still had the mercury switches-I think in the electrical box instead of fuses, can't really remember. Anyway, we'd play with the liquid mercury, very fun and I'm sure only resulted in limited brain damage

In a perfect world a vaccine would be simply a weakened virus that the immune system quickly identified and creates lasting immunity to. So, why are many oppossed to vaccines?;

1. mercury injected directly into the blood stream

2. adjuvants like squalene that create inflammation by 'challenging the immune system'

3. how do you think they make the weakened viruses?

by using genetically engineering viruses that produce the desired viruses, it's very interesting to read exactly how these 'attenuated' viruses are made and how much unknown and 'extra' material is in the final product to be injected into your bloodstream
