It's very sad. From what I read on Reuters it could be an accidental overdose, but it doesn't appear to be drugs in the sense of River Phoenix...It's OTC sleeping pills?

Still sad, especially since he had a daughter. Rich actor or not, he never struck me as one of the "wild ones" and no one deserves to grow up without a father....

Okay, No one knows exactly what killed him, or whether it was accidental or intentional, nor do they know if it was OTC drugs or prescriptions drugs. Regardless, this is not the thread to discuss this - many members here are shocked and saddened by the news and continued comments such as these do nothing for this thread.

And even if it was because of abusing drugs, once you have an addiction it's a battle you have to fight for life. I read that he'd had some problems in the past but had been clean for at least a year or something. Relapse is always possible and drugs can always kill you. One thing that can't kill you, however, is having a little compassion.
