I filled out my girl's papers, and then sent them to her in Thailand for signature...her reading abilities of the English language needs work!! You can do the same, it takes time to mail back and forth, but it ensures accuracy. :)

You say "wife" yet this is posted to the K-1 visa forum which is for Fiance(e). Which is it Wife or Fiancee?

Anyway you can fill out her G-325A but she has to fill out the lines where it says name in native language, and she signs it.

G-325A is a 4 page form fill out page 1 of the PDF and print out all 4 pages (NOT copies of page 1).

Lastly, I highly recommend "A Candle for Love" that site is the best for preparing for Guangzhou consulate interview.

Lastly stick to doing just the I-130 for CR-1, that visa takes about 1 month longer for Guangzhou, and results in Green-card, NO adjusting of status needed.

Hello All,

Quick question, very easy, I am filing my I-130, can I fill out my wifes G-325A Form, or does she have to sign for this and fill it out herself. Thanks ahead of time.

You can fill out her's but she must sign it.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

It's easy to fill out by using the fillable forms from the net.....You can print out all of them at once.

And, yes, I agree with everyone else.....she has to sign them.
