my hubby love eating chicken adobo and my mom cooked it good but when he had a taste of chicken adobo in one hotel closed to our house, he started craving for its taste though my mother's cooking is good enough :(, I myself admit that the adobo in that hotel is really yummy.. does anybody know and can share here how to make chicken abodo more masarap?

;) Try my fave ADOBO. It may also be cooked using pork or a combination of chicken & pork. Enjoy!!!

INGREDIENTS:

1 kl. chicken, cut into serving pieces

5 medium potatoes, quartered

2 cups of water

1 garlic, minced

1 bay leaf

peppercorns

SEASONINGS:

3 tbsp. Soy sauce

1 1/2 tbsp vinegar

1 Chicken cube

Salt to taste

PROCEDURE:

In a saucepan, combine chicken, garlic, bayleaf, peppercorns, salt & soy sauce.

Marinate for 30 minutes (optional).

Bring to a boil over medium heat, then cover.

Lower heat & cook until chicken is tender.

When chicken is almost cooked, add potatoes and chicken cube.

Add vinegar. Simmer for a few minutes & stir occassionally, making sure that the potatoes don't get overcooked.

TIP:

Instead of potatoes you can substitute black beans or bulaklak ng saging sometimes.
