omg what did you do??

Did you go to jail? :(

I had to get my student records & bank statements from London to prove I lived abroad then. It was a huge PITA. Not to mention it cost me one apt out here cuz he thought I had a criminal record(it clearly says what it is for, that landlord was a dipsh*t).

Still a HUGE PAIN.

He needs to follow it up. I was in a 4 year battle with NY state over a missed jury duty when I lived in ENGLAND. It showed up on my credit report - whicH is the only reason I knew about it!!!!

What devilette said - I actually had a warrant out for my arrest for missing jury duty - I was living in England at the time!

No worries then! Just tell them you're in England.

Yes - it is easily solved once you learn about it. But if you don't live at the address were the summons is being served any more you don't know it's out there until it comes back and bites you in the a$$.

I've had tickets since then (hehe) and nothing. Maybe here they don't care. Or maybe it will bite me in the ####### later! I wish I could fix it. I would have totally gone. Jury duty could be fun! lol
