The other day I finally found Caramello (sp) chocolate bar that my father inlaw was telling me about he thought it sounded like our Caramilk bar and omg maybe its been way too long since I had a Caramilk bar but I was in heaven eating this Caramello bar its more like the Caramilk jumbo but it was sooo sooo good. I found it in Walmart, I guess I never really looked for it before but dang it was good.

I have seen those crackers but never tried em.

They sell Miss Vickies in South Carolina, I have bought them there, they even had them at the bar in the airport.

Not that I'm a BIG chip eater, but they do?? Never noticed. I'm moving to Sumter, SC this summer!!

Guess I'm just a die hard Old Dutch fan myself...

I actually like Lay's classic chips (I like old dutch too, don't get me wrong - in fact I have never met a chip I didn't like).

Lay's classic here are very different than the Canadian version, in my opinion - they are MUCH much oilier. In fact I don't really like them at all here - so I take back the statement I made above!

It should be - I never met a Canadian chip I didn't like

according to this site, they don't contain sugar - but I hear you, I really like saltines - as in premium plus - and they have HFCS in them.

I just had this intense craving for.... MISS VICKIES!! They don't have them here :crying: I'll have to put that on my grocery list for when I'm back in a few eeks

Miss Vickies is in the United States. I've most often seen them sold at Quizno's or Subway.

Really!? Oh wow, I've never seen them here, but I've yet to go to a Subway or Quizno's, maybe that's why. They don't have Miss Vickies at Wawa, 711 or any grocery stores, because I always check out the chip aisle

Jimmy John's Sandwich Shops have them, too. Not sure if JJs is a Michigan only thing or not...

I didn't notice the food I'll be missing out on til rather recently.

My husband does, however, and he's American.

He says our McDonald's burgers tastes very different, as does our sushi --it tastes better, he declares.

Oh, and he's pretty upset that the US doesn't carry Old Dutch Rave Buffalo Wing chips. He grabs a big bag every time he comes over.

We've decided to try and make runs to Sarnia as needed to get ketchup. I like Canadian ketchup much better than US ketchup, and my fiance' says he won't come to the US without an established bottle (or 2 or 3) of Canadian ketchup. lol

So, when I came back from visiting last weekend, I brought back 2 large bottles from Costco and I'll bring back another 2 bottles when I go there for his birthday (just days before he moves here!!!). That way, when he gets here, we can grill for dinner that night and he'll have his Canadian ketchup sitting on the table! ;)

I've seen them in NE! I have yet to try them, but my fiance tried them and he said the sandwiches are even better (the bread and meats are fresher) than Quiznos and Subway and he LOVES Quiznos. And they deliver!! I can't wait!

Ohhh... I love JJs. I have them saved in my cell phone for work, home, my parent's home... yeah. I'm addicted. My fave has to be a #1 with no tomato (and sometimes extra mayo). Basically, that's a ham, cheese, and lettuce sandwich on a baguette-style bread. The outside of the bread is crunchy, but the inside is soft and perfect.
