as anyone seen Mr. Big bars down here?? I really miss those... . and my hubby has never heard of them ....

as soon as I got off the plane at Pearson 2 weeks ago, I made a beeline to one of those little magazine/snack stores they have all over the airport and promptly bought a Mr. Big bar. Those suckers are soooooooo good!

I brought back a bag of ketchup chips so that my hubby can try them out.

i think Mr Big bars are my favourite.... i miss them soooooo much!! :crying:

i don't even think they really have an equivalent down here... 100 grands are somewhat similar but they don't have the wafer thing inside....

Anyone ever notice in the states you get one less Reese peanut butter cup? And they call it Reese's instead of Reese.

I find you can get a lot of the Cadbury stuff at grocery stores with a decent international foods section or specialty import food shops such as World Market as others have mentioned but be prepared to pay a premium price for it! Best to hit Costco before coming to the states or on visits back to Canada to stock up on boxes of bars :)

If you do go by, can you let me know if you see them? If you do, maybe I can ask this local Publix and see if they can carry it!

they have some stuff here you can sprinkle on popcorn.. trying ot think of the name of it..

not sure if this is the one I am thinking of "Kernel Season's" yeah it is the one I am thinking of..... it comes in a lot of different flavours... I am partial to the kettle corn and caramel corn ones....

they have them at the movie theater we go to....

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gro?url=...p;x=15&y=18

I have found them at Albertson's but the variety there is kind of lacking...

I'm really sick of everything tasting so darn sweet here! Seriously? What is up with that? I've always had a thing for salt but it's getting MUCH worse now! ~giggles~ It just means that I cook fresh fruits and veggies more which isn't a bad thing but seriously, sometimes I'd just like to have something packaged that doesn't taste like it's dipped in HFCS or some other type of sugar.

I hear you ATeam! Everything tastes sweet, I like salt too and I mentioned the other day that the only salty thing I had eaten since arriving in Florida is the Kraft Dinner we had the other night that we brought from Canada!

The cereal here is soooo sweet, I really like Special K and here it is really really sweet compared to the Canadian version.

hey I tired some Kroger Brand mac and cheese yesterday and it actually tasted cheesy not watered down like the Kraft Dinner stuff... I was sooo happy.... I am going to be buying that form now on

when I mixed the powder with the milk it kind of turned into this thick paste instead of all watery ...

I (L) the Kroger brand... the only things I haven't liked so far are their canned diced tomatoes and their instant oatmeal...
