I was wondering my husband finally received his biometrics appointment notice in the mail today. We were wondering if anyone knows how much it will cost to get this done and about how long after that the ead may come if approved? Any information would be great. Thanks much!

biometrics fee of $70 (I think) should have been included in your application fee. If there are any further fees to pay, USCIS will inform you. EAD should be approved not long after the biometrics....if not and it takes longer than 90 days, you may call and inquire.

Good luck,

No cost. Andre's green card came about 3 weeks after he had his biometrics. We never did get the EAD.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Oh ok thank you all so much. He came over on a K3 visa and we applied for my husbands work permit card only, we didn't apply for his aos, not for a couple of months yet. I looked the Biometric notice over and it didn't show no fee amt so maybe there is no fee but just to be safe I think we will take at least the $70 with us. Again thanks to all for your help and information.

P.S

Has anyone been to the USCIS St. Paul Office in MN? Just wondering how the people are there and how it operates if I will be able to go in with him or not? If not thats fine too, just wondering. :)

USCIS indicates the $80 bio fee not needed when filing the (I-765) petition.
