i sent about 10 maybe....its not about the number i don't think, its more about the pics....so choose ones that show you're in love  haha...i don't know if that makes sense...but you know what i mean...:thumbs: good luck!!!!!!

i wish you alllllllllllll the best!!!

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth

Depends on what you think is 'just enough'. ;) We took about 25 pictures and were given a 221g for among other things, "more pictures," because the CO thought we looked too posed in our pictures. (As if posing is not what you do when someone snaps a picture of you.) So sometimes exaggeration is not out of order, nor can you count on TRUTH to come out in your half an hour interraction w/ someone who is on the other side of a bullet-proof plexiglass.

I say, bury them w/ evidence if you have it....take it all w/ you. If its asked for you have it w/ you, if not, well hey you carried a few extra documents w/ you that were not required. What's the harm? But at least you know for sure that you have all your evidence w/ you.

We took 2 scrapbooks full of them. I believe the most important are those that show the two of you with other people....IMHO!

Do they keep the evidence you bring to the interview? If we bring our wedding album will they want to keep it? We haven't even gotten our NOA1 yet but I have been curious about this. Also can I go to the interview with my wife?

Thanks,

- Justin and Masako

Not to be disrespectul but having a child w/ a US citizen (however registered that child is) proves that the foreign spouse and the USC had sexual contact. It does not prove documentarily, the validity of the underlying relationship upon which you (the foreign spouse) are applying for immigration benefits. Your "evidence" should be geared towards proving that you have a valid (in your case) marriage w/ your USC spouse...i.e constant communication, seeing each other as much as possible, documents such as joint accounts, filing taxes together or any other documentary proof you can show that you and your spouse are in a viable marriage. Some consulates may or may not be such sticklers for documentary evidence...but the marriage is what is required for you to prove in order to be issued a visa.

Thanks,

You are advised to bring enough copies of things, so that if the CO requests it, you can leave that item w/ them....i.e. bring duplicates of anything you want to keep for your records.

Oh we completely understand that.. I am not trying to base our whole chance of approval on our daughter being a USC.. I am just saying that its a powerful proof with our other proofs like Marriage Cert, Joint Loans, Pictures, Love Letters, Long Distance calling logs, etc..

I am just saying its a big factor..

I take it from our application for I-130.. I didn't even send any pictures.. Just sent the necessary docs and my daughter's docs and we got approved in 19 days.. No RFE!

Call It a luck but it is what it is..

You're right....I was just clarifying to make sure others reading this topic understand that evidence is taken as together as a whole...one piece is just that, one pice and only as a whole does it make sense and get approved.

Yes, back in the day Vermont was known for approving petitions in less than a month....2-3 weeks was the average. I remember feeling upset that those being able to file in Vermont got their approvals in one month or less while those of us in California were waiting 3+ monts. That was just the approval situation at the time you filed. Now w/ all service centers being overloaded....the wait times are longer no matter what the circumstances/details of the petition are..
